A power output of 900 W, a high-capacity lithium-ion battery (915 Wh), a throttle with instant response and the possibility of charging via solar power even while travelling. This is the new Travel 903 from Torqeedo, already considered one of the latest gems in the industry. The motor, which is completely waterproof and equipped with an on-board computer with GPS-based calculation of remaining range, is the latest addition to a year full of achievements for the company.
Torqeedo thus confirms its position as the industry leader in electric mobility on water with the launch of a limited edition motor that can be easily disassembled and transported (the S version weighs 11.3 kg while the L version weighs 11.7 kg).
One thing is certain, wherever the Travel is located, even when it is not mounted on a boat, it poses no risk, neither of leaks nor of unpleasant odours. A plus that surprises boaters.
14% more range than Travel 1103
As its name implies, this model is an update of Torqeedo’s iconic Travel that has sold over 100,000 units worldwide in over a decade. Its upgrade comes with even more innovative technology and enhanced reliability. Together they make it possible to aim for new standards that the company itself has set for its products.
“The Travel 903 leverages our expertise to offer an even more optimised navigation experience. With the Travel 903, we present the best version of our engine: a 14 per cent longer range than the Travel 1103 and a high-efficiency propeller, which until now was only available as an accessory,’ explained Fabian Bez, CEO of Torqeedo.
The Travel 903 impresses with its functional and modern design, and of course its power to power boats of up to 1.3 tonnes. All without any effort. It can therefore ideally be installed on fishing boats, small sailing boats and dinghies to ensure silent (33 dB) and 100% emission-free sailing.
The new limited edition lightweight electric outboard comes with a five-year warranty and a durable direct drive motor that has been designed for superior efficiency.
