Three days of event, characterized by the presentation of important products for different sectors, but above all by the presence of a good turnout of visitors who showed interest in DEUTZ products.DEUTZ Italy, which took part at GIS for the first time, was able to present not only its top products, including the latest <strong>TCD 3.9 L4<\/strong> and <strong>TCD 5.2 L4<\/strong> engine models, but also the <strong>Dual+ strategy<\/strong>. Over the last 12 months the company has invested even more in the <strong>material handling<\/strong> market. A decision that led to the participation at GIS in Piacenza, a great opportunity to meet not only current customers but also potential ones during 3 days of intense work.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img width=\"578\" height=\"690\" src=\"https:\/\/www.deutzmag.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/GIS-03.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4503\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.deutzmag.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/GIS-03.png 578w, https:\/\/www.deutzmag.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/GIS-03-251x300.png 251w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 578px) 100vw, 578px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p>DEUTZ presented for the first time the brand new <strong>TCD 3.9 L4 <\/strong>to customers and visitors, with an <strong>overhead camshaft<\/strong> and with a <strong>power of up to 130 kW<\/strong> in the size of the current 3.6 engine. The <strong>Exhaust After-Treatment system configuration is modular<\/strong> and there is the possibility of mounting the entire exhaust gas treatment on the engine. This factor, together with the very narrow package for having a 130 kW engine (with very high power density), is important especially for installation on telescopic handlers. The reason is simple: they need to have very low bonnets and engines to increase visibility from the cabin.&nbsp;<br><br><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"The_TCD_52_engine\"><\/span>The TCD 5.2 engine<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img width=\"510\" height=\"586\" src=\"https:\/\/www.deutzmag.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/GIS-04.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4505\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.deutzmag.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/GIS-04.jpg 510w, https:\/\/www.deutzmag.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/GIS-04-261x300.jpg 261w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 510px) 100vw, 510px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p>We could not miss to present the <strong>5.2 engine<\/strong> with a power <strong>up to 170 kW<\/strong> and which has already received many requests also in the rotary telehandler sector. We&#8217;re looking at a <strong>4-in line cylinder engine, turbocharged<\/strong> with intercooler. The engine and its Exhaust After-Treatment system are optimized to ensure maximum system efficiency and minimal consumption.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img width=\"904\" height=\"902\" src=\"https:\/\/www.deutzmag.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/GIS-05.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4509\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.deutzmag.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/GIS-05.jpg 904w, https:\/\/www.deutzmag.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/GIS-05-300x300.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.deutzmag.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/GIS-05-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/www.deutzmag.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/GIS-05-768x766.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.deutzmag.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/GIS-05-585x585.jpg 585w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 904px) 100vw, 904px\" \/><figcaption><br><br><br><\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"A_look_at_DEUTZ_hydrogen_engines\"><\/span>A look at DEUTZ hydrogen engines<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to the above mentioned engines, DEUTZ Italy is reviewing all engines above 5 liters of displacement, introducing engines with a displacement of 7.7 liters, 10.7 liters, 12.8 liters and 15.6 liters, up to 18 liters, capable of delivering power up to 623 kW.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201cThe new products will be introduced on the market starting from the next few years, to be all in series by 2028. The range of hydrogen engines will also derive from here with a focus from 5 to 15 liters of displacement. It will be very hard to replace engines in this power range with the full electric solutions known today, that\u2019s why we at DEUTZ think that the zero-emission solution is hydrogen&#8221;, confirmed Roberto Pilling, Engine Sales Director of DEUTZ Italy.&nbsp;<\/em><br>But during the 3-day event at the GIS Expo also the focus on <strong>electric mobility<\/strong> is an important topic.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img width=\"904\" height=\"420\" src=\"https:\/\/www.deutzmag.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/GIS-06.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4513\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.deutzmag.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/GIS-06.png 904w, https:\/\/www.deutzmag.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/GIS-06-300x139.png 300w, https:\/\/www.deutzmag.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/GIS-06-768x357.png 768w, https:\/\/www.deutzmag.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/GIS-06-585x272.png 585w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 904px) 100vw, 904px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p>Starting from this concept, DEUTZ has developed a <strong>complete electrical package with 80 kW peak power and 360-volt high voltage systems.<\/strong> This means offering a complete package to ensure <em>functional safety to customers<\/em>, especially to those who purchase different components on the market, losing coverage in terms of personal and functional safety, avoiding conflicts between different suppliers.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img width=\"902\" height=\"378\" src=\"https:\/\/www.deutzmag.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/GIS-07-1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4527\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.deutzmag.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/GIS-07-1.png 902w, https:\/\/www.deutzmag.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/GIS-07-1-300x126.png 300w, https:\/\/www.deutzmag.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/GIS-07-1-768x322.png 768w, https:\/\/www.deutzmag.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/GIS-07-1-585x245.png 585w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 902px) 100vw, 902px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p>In addition to the complete package, DEUTZ also offers to the market the supply of its own <strong>42 kWh batteries<\/strong>, as well as the development of a new generation of accumulators we are working on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201cWe are focusing on market development with the aim of finding new projects both for classic internal combustion engines and for the green sector.
