The engines are designed to work with <strong>Torqeedo Power series<\/strong> lithium-ion batteries but can be powered by other batteries or different energy sources, the <strong>Cruise engines<\/strong> have been completely redesigned obtaining up to 50% more power, better thermal dissipation, a robust aluminum carriage with integral fin, ultra-quiet and resistant helical gears and an improved throttle function.<br><br><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"The_new_Deep_Blue_50_kW_saildrive_propulsion_system\"><\/span>The <strong>new Deep Blue 50 kW <\/strong>saildrive propulsion system<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>A <strong>new 22kW shore charger<\/strong> and DC interface which simplifies the handling of third-party range extenders are new enhancements to the Deep Blue product range.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Indeed, the <strong>new Deep Blue 50 kW <\/strong>saildrive propulsion system, which earned top honors in the prestigious Boat Builder Award competition at the <strong>METSTRADE 2021 show<\/strong>, also makes its US debut. The low drag of the hull design allows for a cruising speed of 12 knots. The electric propulsion system is charged by solar panels well hidden under the aft sundeck. The Mana 23 is available for test drives at slipway 306 at the Sea Isle Marina.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>Ocean Renegade R5<\/strong> presented by Nova Luxe is a luxury electric catamaran with two 25 kW Deep Blue electric motors, 40 kWh Deep Blue battery and regenerative propulsion system for charging under sail on a total of 54 feet.
